There is an exciting opportunity to be part of the core development team of APEX Financial Technologies (http://www.apexft.com/). 
 
The requirement is for a Ruby on Rails developer with 2 to 4 years of industry experience. Experience with Amazon Webservices is a plus. If you believe you have a strong technical background and technology isn't a challenge, feel free to send your profile as well. 
 
Job responsibilities
  • Brainstorm and develop additional features on the APEX product as per product roadmap
  • Gain knowledge on financial terminologies necessary to gain business understanding of product
  • Ideate and provide solutions to deliver client need
  • Documentation - product and technical
  • Customizing solution as per client requirements
  • Where required, support the client in deploying solution at site and resolve client concerns (mostly domestic)
  • Have fun working and be a positive addition to the work environment!

Apex is a B2B financial technology product targeting treasuries of mid to large corporate firms and Banks to help them better manage forex and commodity risks. The product itself has garnered strong interest from the target client base. We are currently setting up the product and technology team.
 
Apex was founded by Arshdeep Jindal in June 2015 based on need gap identified from years of experience trading at Standard Chartered London trading desk. The company has received initial funding from HNIs who are very senior bankers themselves.
